Afterglow Boarding Kennels is owned & run by myself Peta & my husband Phil. We took over the kennels in July 2005, however I had been employed at Afterglow for 4 years prior to this. We are situated approx, a mile from junction 3 on the M55 in a rural setting. We are a family run business, our son Kenny works in the kennels with his girlfriend Michelle, our daughter Jodie & her boyfriend live on site & Jodie is a professional dog groomer. We have had a total re-burbishment in the kennels since we took over & my husband & son have done all of the work to a very high standard.
We like to work at what our customers need, if you have a problem with your dogs boarding needs we will try our best to help you out and solve your problem. We do day boarding which is from 8:30am to 6:00pm, single overnight stays, week-end stays, weekly, fortnightly & long term stays. At the moment we have with us several dogs from the Ministry of Defence, these dogs are owned by soldiers who are stationed in Iraq & they have been with us for 6 months. We also have dogs staying with us that have been brought to us via Social Services whos owners are in Hospital & there is no-one available to look after them. Afterglow also has a pick up & return home service within a 10 mile radius from the kennels this is a minimal charge.
Opening soon is the Afterglow Puppy Creche, this operates like a childrens nursery. Your puppy will be supervised at all times, this gives them the chance to socialise with other puppies of a similar age & when you go away on holiday & they have to go into kennels they are familiar with the surroundings & the routine. |
